Currently studying Audio Engineering Technology and Theater & Drama at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. I have been working and training as a front of house engineer for 6 years and my dream job is to be a front of house engineer in theater and live entertainment. I started freelancing in summer 2022 when I moved permanently to Nashville. Though my specialty and the bulk of my work is in front of house engineering, I have also served on strike crews, as a camera operator, and recently acted as stage manager for Belmont's Showcase Series.
I come to the event prepared and willing to do whatever I need to get the job done. Even though my main priority is to get my job done, I know it is important to help those around me because we are all working towards one common goal. It is really important to me to be an emotional leader, setting the tone for the day and being somebody that people can rely on for emotional support as well. Even though I love to be a leader, I also know that right now, my place will not always be a position of power, and I am willing to take a step back and evaluate where I need to improve and grow in other roles. I am always wanting to learn how I can do my job more efficiently, as well as train in other areas of production so I can widen my capabilities and services.
My ideal client right now would be ANY client. I am in no position to be picky at this point in my career. Ideally though, a client would be well-prepared and have a set list of tasks and expectations for me. I work best when I know what is expected of me and when I have certain goals or tasks to reach.
